No one even knows what Donald Trump is talking about as he incoherently spirals out of control during debate

We’re now a half hour into tonight’s presidential debate, and let’s just say that it’s not going well for Donald Trump. He keeps sniffing. He got the moderator’s name wrong. He’s been tepid, petulant, and defensive, even as Joe Biden lands a series of fairly solid blows. Trump is now getting rattled, and he’s starting to unravel.

At various points tonight Donald Trump has falsely claimed that Joe Biden took $3.5 million from China, that Joe Biden has been selling “pillows and sheets” to Russia, that Biden’s brother is somehow dirty, and all kinds of other conspiracy theories that aren’t even coherent.

To be clear, none of this nonsense is helping Trump at all, because no one outside his too-small base even cares what he’s babbling about. Trump seems to be aware that this isn’t working for him, because he’s now frustrated to the point that he keeps rudely interrupting the moderator. Trump is unraveling.
