As you know, New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez has been indicted on bribery charges. But this article is not about that. No, this article, my friends, is about a study in contrasts. Since this indictment, the Governor of New Jersey and many other prominent democrats have called for Menendez to resign. He will.

But just LOOK — look at the differences, the contrasts between us and them. When one of our own does wrong, we never hesitate to call that person out. And I hope Democrats do a campaign ad about this subject once the election gets closer. Because WE recognize when one of our own has gone too far — and we call them out on it.

Who do the Republicans call out? Donald Trump? Nope. Marjorie Taylor Greene? Nope. George Santos? Nope. It’s the difference between good and evil. It’s the difference between corruption and honor.

The contrast could not be more vivid. We have got to make sure the American people see it as well. The ability to call out bad and corrupt behavior when it happens — no matter which side is doing it — is a strength and one that belongs solely to the Democratic Party.

If Bob Menerndez were a republican? Republicans right now, would be doing — nothing. absolutely nothing. They’re not capable of policing their own. I bet not one republican would have called for a resignation. Not one.

This difference in party reaction to wrongdoing — this contrast really says it all about why the Democrats are the only party equipped to lead and why they are the only party who will not and have not let the American people down.
