Nicolle Wallace just nailed it

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Just how good is Nicolle Wallace? When MSNBC expanded her weekday show from one hour to two hours, the move was widely celebrated among the network’s viewers. With a whole lot of news having broken over the weekend, we were waiting to see what she’d bring to the table today.

Wallace ended up harping on one point that we think is really important. When the New York Times got the inside scoop that Donald Trump was originally planning to rip off his clothes and reveal a Superman t-shirt on his way home from the hospital, it buried that particular detail in the 27th paragraph of an otherwise unimportant article.

Palmer Report thought it was the most important detail in the article, because it spoke to Donald Trump’s already-broken and now-collapsing state of mind. It turns out Nicolle Wallace also thought it was important, and she made a point of leading a panel discussion about it during her show today.

Just because the Superman story is silly on its face, it doesn’t mean it’s not important. Just how close did Donald Trump come to actually going through with the stunt? With the way Trump is completely falling apart, it’s important to have a firm grasp on just how quickly and derangedly he’s unraveling.
