Nice try, Rudy Giuliani

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When the week began, Rudy Giuliani was facing the nightmare of a federal investigation that’s going to result in his arrest and trial. By the time the week was over, insult had been added to injury, as Rudy faced the humiliation of an accidental butt-dial that appeared to further incriminate him while revealing that he’s flat broke. Now Rudy has something to say about it, and we’re not even sure where to start.

Rudy Giuliani has gone rather quiet on social media since the arrest of his co-conspirators Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman. But he has continued “liking” various things on Twitter, which have offered some clues as to how he feels about the various developments that are playing out around him. After the butt-dial incident, Rudy “liked” this tweet from one of his followers:

What are the chances Rudy Giuliani ‘butt dialed’ NBC reporter’s twice? Coincidence, or design? Rudy has MSM not knowing whether to scratch their watch, or wind their ass.

That’s right, Rudy Giuliani is now trying to sell us on the notion that just maybe he accidentally called an NBC News reporter on purpose, and that he intentionally revealed that he’s out of cash and needs some money from a guy in Turkey. Because really, doing this on purpose would totally help Rudy with his criminal case. The reality is that Rudy is every bit as far gone as we all think he is.
