Donald Trump isn’t taking the news well about Melania and Ivanka Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $2097 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,

Yesterday we learned that Ivanka Trump and Melania Trump are both caught up in Donald Trump’s criminal scandals. At the least they’ll each be called as witnesses against Michael Cohen, and worst they could end up facing criminal charges of their own. This morning Palmer Report pointed out that this meant the Trump family had basically imploded, as it doubled the number of Donald Trump’s family members in danger of going down in his scandals. Donald isn’t exactly taking the news well.

Donald Trump is supposedly having a good day on the job. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has once again come back to the White House to humor him, and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is – for now – playing along with Trump’s summit charade. But instead of allowing those headlines to write themselves, Trump can’t help himself. In fact he’s going off the deep end.

Trump attacked Republican Senator Jeff Flake. Then he appeared to call for Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz to go to prison. Then he demanded that Special Counsel Robert Mueller begin investigating President Obama. Then he posted a video of Hillary Clinton. Then he posted this weird tweet that literally no one understands: “When will people start saying, ‘thank you, Mr. President, for firing James Comey?'”

This is how Donald Trump usually behaves when an avalanche of negative headlines is surfacing about his criminal scandals. The news about Melania and Ivanka Trump isn’t getting the kind of headlines today that it probably should, because there is so much else going on today. But Donald is giving away that these new revelations about his family are throwing him for a major loop. He’s probably afraid of Ivanka going to prison, and of Melania testifying against him.
