New York just ramped up its criminal case against Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump is just five days away from being out of office and thus eligible for arrest. The Manhattan District Attorney has a widely documented grand jury in the process of criminally indicting Trump, though we have no way of knowing when that hammer will drop. That said, the criminal probe just expanded.

The Manhattan DA has expanded its criminal investigation of Donald Trump to include his Westchester golf resort, according to a report from CNN this afternoon. This is remarkable because it means that the DA is apparently looking to expose Trump’s criminal actions at all of his properties, across his entire financial house of cards.

Over the past month there have been a number of reports about the Manhattan DA’s criminal investigation expanding and accelerating in various ways. Now that Donald Trump is about to be eligible for arrest, it leaves a big question. Will the DA wait until the grand jury is ready to indict on all of these crimes, or will the DA have the grand jury indict Trump now on the charges that are complete and then bring superseding indictments later?

It’s important to note that this criminal investigation being run by the Manhattan District Attorney is in addition to the New York Attorney General’s civil investigation into the Trump Organization. Donald Trump is being dismantled from all sides.
