New York Attorney General Tish James fights back against Donald Trump’s maniacal dictator push
With his presidency failing and the country falling apart, Donald Trump announced this evening that he’s going to send the U.S. military to mow down Americans in their own streets. Trump can’t actually do this; even the Insurrection Act doesn’t allow for it without the permission of the governors, which he doesn’t have. But it’s nonetheless incredibly disturbing that Trump would even pretend he’s going to dispatch the military.
Fortunately, New York Attorney General Tish James is fighting back against Donald Trump:
President Trump is not a dictator & he doesn’t have the right to unilaterally deploy U.S. military across American states.
We will guard the right to peaceful protest & will not hesitate to go to court to protect our constitutional rights during this time & well into the future.
