It’s already starting. I refer to the panic over some of Trump’s OTHER nominees. In the wake of the Gaetz implosion, many Democrats AND Republicans are turning their attention to other Trump picks, and a few of them seem to profoundly concern both parties.

One of them is Tulsi Gabbard. In another article, I discussed her being a bad pick and listed reasons why. But since then, more has come out about the woman dubbed Russia’s girlfriend. Why, many are asking, why was Trump’s nominee to lead the intelligence community placed on a Government watch list?

Gabbard was briefly on a list that watches for travelers who might need ADDITIONAL security measures. The company has an algorithm that is triggered by certain actions taken by certain travelers, such as where they are traveling and their flying patterns. This algorithm was triggered by Gabbard, and everyone wants to know why.

The program’s name is “Quiet Skies,” and she was eventually removed from the list. But the question is, why did she land on it in the first place? That is not the only question, of course. Gabbard’s gushing praise for Assad, in particular, is making many uneasy, and reportedly, many Republicans are also clamoring, behind the scenes, to see her FBI file.

Look — writer is not accusing Gabbard of anything. Not now. However — HOWEVER, friends and readers — let me put it this way: If a Trojan Horse has possibly — POSSIBLY — slipped over our gates, it is our job to send it back.

This is why we need to know. If she has not done anything wrong , this should really not be an issue at all.

We cannot afford to have anyone in our government who has an Achilles heel for individuals that we, the American people, deem enemies. So yes, this nomination is getting a lot of attention, and Gabbard will have to explain herself. It’s either that or follow in Matt Gaetz’s footsteps.
