New trouble for Trump stooge Ronny Jackson

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Dr. Ronny Jackson is best known for having claimed Donald Trump only weighed 239 pounds, for allegedly drunkenly harassing women, and for allegedly handing out pills like candy. So it’s not surprising that a far right district turned around and elected him to the House. But as it turns out, he may not last long.

The Office of Congressional Ethics has released a report alleging that Ronny Jackson (or “Ronny Johnson” as Trump now calls him) repeatedly used campaign funds for personal use. This is grounds for expulsion if the House wants it to be. So it’ll be interesting to watch what the Republican-controlled House Ethics Committee does with this report.

We’ve already seen the House Ethics Committee open a probe into Matt Gaetz complete with witnesses accusing Gaetz of various sex and drug related crimes. House Republicans appear to be using the probe to line up Gaetz for expulsion during the next window where it won’t impact the House majority.

If the House Ethics Committee takes the Office of Congressional Ethics report on Ronny Jackson and runs with it, then it’ll be a sign that House Republicans are looking to get rid of Jackson as well. Some House Republicans very much appear to want to get rid of other House Republicans, as their ongoing squabbling and backstabbing over the Speaker position continues.
