New trouble for the RNC

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Uh-oh. I smell trouble. This is because of Donald Trump’s latest move. It is nasty and bound to have ramifications for the Republican Party. As I’ve said, donors have been backing away from donating any money to the Trump train, probably because they see that the Trump train is colliding with prison and gaining speed as we speak.

But also because there has been a Trump takeover at the RNC. So donors could be forgiven for smelling something rotten and perhaps decide to sit it out for this election cycle, at least. But now, like an ill wind blowing in from Traitor–land, Donald Trump has hired a lawyer.

NOT to defend him. Not this lawyer. This lawyer has been installed to “watch the money.” Oh no! Oh yes! There is a watcher in place, and his name is Sean Caircross. He’s been hired to watch the RNC funds. The Trump team has hired him to watch the money and its spending and (this is my opinion) likely report back to his royal Swiss cheese brain, who has been naughty with the money and who has been nice.

After all, one should not spend too much on down-ballot candidates. Trump may NEED the money. This lawyer is known as a “discipline enforcer.” Oh no! Yes, I said that already, but it’s worth saying twice. What WILL Republicans do?

This election is actually shaping up to be lots of fun. Now, there is a genuine hall monitor for the RNC.
A spy.

This person will be watching every damn move the GOP makes. And every dollar bill, every dime, nickel, and penny will need to be accounted for. The GOP is basically being monitored like the little children that they are.

I will note that Trump’s campaign has said they will not tap into this money for legal bills. Right. Always believe the opposite of what Trump says. How long will the money last? I wonder how many donors will flee. This election is shaping up to be the GOP’s worst nightmare,
