New text messages point to Roger Stone’s role in January 6th Capitol attack

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier this month the Feds arrested two Oath Keepers for their roles in the January 6th Capitol attack, both of whom were providing “security” for Roger Stone, and one of whom was serving as Stone’s driver. At the time, Palmer Report pointed out that the Feds would likely try to get one or both these men to flip on Stone.

Now the Feds have introduced text messages which reveal that the Oath Keepers were planning as early as January 1st to provide “security” for Roger Stone on January 6th. Two things stand out here.

First, the Feds appear to be attempting to establish that the Capitol attack was a premeditated conspiracy. Second, the Feds appear to be using the court filings against the Oath Keepers to build a conspiracy case against Roger Stone. Put another way: why would the Feds bother dragging Stone into the court filings against the Oath Keepers, unless they’re planning to criminally charge Stone as well?
