New January 6th evidence means Jim Jordan is screwed

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The January 6th committee reportedly now has proof that Trump and Jim Jordan spoke on the phone the morning of the Capitol attack, per CNN. These kinds of phone records don’t reveal the specific content of the conversation, but they do show that the call lasted a full ten minutes.

Given the timing, it’s fairly obvious that Trump and Jordan were talking about things like fake electors, pressuring Mike Pence to magically overturn the election, and such. Even though the plan was never going to work, it’s still seditious conspiracy.

If investigators can find even one witness who was in the room with either Trump or Jordan while this ten minute phone conversation was taking place, that witness can help prove Jordan guilty of seditious conspiracy. Jordan might as well just cut a plea deal with the DOJ against Trump now, while he can still potentially get immunity in exchange for his testimony. The longer Jordan drags this out, the worse his options will get.
