Nevada jail gets named after Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Sometimes, the constellations line up just perfectly. And with this story, this couldn’t be more accurate. Let’s talk about the state of Nevada. I happen to be a vast geography nerd and love studying all our different states, histories, and cultures.

Nevada is an interesting state. It’s almost two states in one. There is, of course, the Vegas strip. One can find casinos, shows, wild entertainment, and food — lots and lots of food.

Then there are the vast mountains of Nevada that are a bit more conservative in nature. Nevada has a great deal to offer. One interesting thing Nevada offers SOME of its residents is jail. Obviously, if one breaks the law there and is found guilty, one might have to do some time.

And perhaps Donald J. Trump will even be one’s cellmate — symbolically speaking. You see, friends and readers, Nevada is to be congratulated. They have done something truly unique. Meet the Lyon County Justice Complex — recently renamed.

Welcome to “The Donald J. Trump Justice Complex.” Yes, that’s correct. The country has lovingly named a jail after Assolini. There was even a “formal dedication” service. Around 50 people attended this exciting event. So I suppose now we can say Trump has seen the inside of a jail cell — just not in the way one would have imagined.
