Donald Trump’s supposed negative coronavirus test result just became even more suspicious

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier today, Donald Trump announced at his press conference that he had been tested for the coronavirus last night. This was bizarre, considering his doctor released an official statement last night insisting that he wouldn’t be tested because he didn’t need to be tested. Then this evening, the White House announced that Trump had tested negative. Sure. Now the whole thing has gotten even more suspicious.

We’re not going to pretend to have a full understanding of the evolving turnaround times on coronavirus tests. But during his press conference, Trump said that he’d been told the results would take a “day or two.” Now suddenly they’ve arrived, with a less than twenty-four hour turnaround time? Hmm.

Again, we have no way of knowing for sure how long the test would legitimately take. And we’re presuming that when the President of the United States is tested for a deadly disease, his sample gets moved to the front of the line. So if there were nothing else suspicious here, we’d be inclined to ignore this.

But considering that Donald Trump’s doctor supposedly tested him last night while simultaneously releasing a public statement saying that he wouldn’t be tested, and now the supposed results have arrived in a far shorter timeframe than Trump claimed would be the case… the whole thing is just off. We continue to suspect Trump wasn’t even tested.
