Navy Captain gets incredible sendoff from his crew after Donald Trump regime improperly fires him
When Captain Brett Crozier sounded the alarm about just how dangerous the coronavirus outbreak was on his ship the USS Theodore Roosevelt, the Trump regime responded by relieving him of duty. It’s the latest reminder that Donald Trump and his underlings always find a way to do the wrong thing. When the captain was leaving the Roosevelt, his crew got a chance to show how it feels.
Check out this incredible video of the Roosevelt’s crew applauding Captain Crozier and cheering for him as he departed, which was shared by military veteran Pete Buttigieg:
It’s so painful to watch a captain sidelined for looking after his sailors. And it’s so stirring to see their show of loyalty for #CaptainCrozier as he steps ashore. America’s national leadership deficit cannot go on forever. https://t.co/XLQssBVtSF

Democratic nominee Joe Biden also weighed in: “Captain Crozier was faithful to his duty—both to his sailors and his country. Navy leadership sent a chilling message about speaking truth to power. The poor judgment here belongs to the Trump Admin, not a courageous officer trying to protect his sailors.”
