Donald Trump goes berserk over “nasty question” about how he screwed up his coronavirus response

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump spent most of his Rose Garden press conference today bragging about how well he’s supposedly handled the coronavirus crisis, and how much “talent” has been involved in his handling of it. But when he was specifically asked about the ways in which he’s blown it, he didn’t exactly handle the question well.

Respected PBS News Hour reporter Yamiche Alcindor asked Donald Trump about moves he made such as gutting the CDC, which have left the United States unable to respond effectively. Trump said, “When you say me, I didn’t do it, we have a group of people.” Then he appeared to blame Dr. Anthony Fauci, who was standing next to him, for the whole thing.

Trump then began attacking Alcindor by saying “you used to be with a different newspaper than you are now,” seemingly unaware that she works for a television channel. Trump then started bragging that only forty Americans have died from the coronavirus thus far. The guy just doesn’t get it.
