Nancy Pelosi slam dunks Donald Trump
This past week we all learned that Donald Trump was trying to help Ben Carson and the MyPillow guy gain FDA approval for some crackpot “miracle cure” for coronavirus. It appears the FDA hasn’t been willing to do Trump’s bidding on this corrupt scheme, because now Trump is lashing out at the FDA accordingly – but Speaker Nancy Pelosi is having none of it.
Trump posted this lazy, generic attempt at faking righteous indignation: “The deep state, or whoever, over at the FDA is making it very difficult for drug companies to get people in order to test the vaccines and therapeutics. Obviously, they are hoping to delay the answer until after November 3rd. Must focus on speed, and saving lives!”
Nancy Pelosi promptly fired back at Trump: “The FDA must approve drugs or vaccines based on their safety and effectiveness – NOT political pressure from the White House. The President’s dangerous attempt to inject himself into the scientific decisions of @US_FDA jeopardizes the health & well-being of all Americans.”
