Nancy Pelosi drops the hammer on Kevin McCarthy
When Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell called Marjorie Taylor Greene a “loony” and a “cancer” yesterday, it was clear that he was worried that her antics will cost the Republican Party any shot in the 2022 midterm elections.
Now Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is seizing on the moment, using Mitch McConnell’s words to call out not just Greene, but also Greene’s top enabler, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy:
When Mitch McConnell — who lives by Pres. Reagan’s rule on never speaking ill of another Republican — warns of a “cancer” in the ranks, Qevin McCarthy, Q-CA, would do well to heed the advice of another US President, Pres. Kennedy, on the dangers of embracing extremism. pic.twitter.com/rrPVo1vtsX

That’s right, Pelosi is now making a repeated and emphatic point of accusing Kevin McCarthy of being from the QAnon party instead of the Republican Party. At this point the Republicans are imploding, and all that Pelosi can do is to make sure that the implosion works out well for the Democrats – which is what she’s doing.
