Donald Trump screws up and admits Michael Cohen has him nailed

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. Donald Trump is in trouble. Don’t want to believe us? Just ask Donald Trump. He’s so worried about his “attorney” Michael Cohen cutting a plea deal against him, he’s now resorting to bombastically refuting every media report about the possibility of Cohen flipping. Now that some of Trump’s own associates are hinting that Cohen will flip on him, Trump is lashing out at his associates in demented fashion. So what’s really going on here?

In case you missed it, here is Trump’s whacked out rant from this morning: “The New York Times and a third rate reporter named Maggie Haberman, known as a Crooked H flunkie who I don’t speak to and have nothing to do with, are going out of their way to destroy Michael Cohen and his relationship with me in the hope that he will “flip.” They use non-existent “sources” and a drunk/drugged up loser who hates Michael, a fine person with a wonderful family. Michael is a businessman for his own account/lawyer who I have always liked & respected. Most people will flip if the Government lets them out of trouble, even if it means lying or making up stories. Sorry, I don’t see Michael doing that despite the horrible Witch Hunt and the dishonest media!”

So why is this significant? Let’s say that your associate has just been raided by the FBI, and that the Feds are trying to pressure him into flipping on you. If you’re confident he’s not going to flip on you, then you don’t have to worry about media reports predicting that he’s going to flip on you. Moreover, despite Trump’s absurd insistence that cooperating witnesses make up stories to please prosecutors, the cold hard reality is that Cohen can’t flip on Trump unless he has something on him.

In other words, Donald Trump just admitted that Michael Cohen has him nailed. Cohen’s testimony would be corroborated by the documents and communications seized from Cohen’s office, meaning that no one would have to take Cohen’s word for it. True to form, Trump is going so defensively berserk, he’s giving things away. Will Cohen flip? We’ll find out. But Trump thinks he will.
