Donald Trump has completely insane meltdown about Mount Rushmore

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier this week the news leaked that people within the Trump White House reached out to the Governor of South Dakota to see if they could somehow get Donald Trump added to Mount Rushmore. Of course there was literally zero chance of this ever happening, and Trump’s handlers surely knew that; they were just trying to find a way to cheer him up by telling him that he was in consideration for Mount Rushmore, or something along those lines.

Of course now that the news is out there, Donald Trump (or whoever is tweeting for him at this stage of his cognitive collapse) is tweeting this: “This is Fake News by the failing @nytimes & bad ratings @CNN. Never suggested it although, based on all of the many things accomplished during the first 3 1/2 years, perhaps more than any other Presidency, sounds like a good idea to me!”

Trump’s account also tweeted a laughably amateurish image of Donald Trump superimposed onto Mount Rushmore. And why not? If you’re going to be this stupid, you might as well go all the way. This all serves to demonstrate just how far removed from reality Trump is.

Donald Trump is losing badly in an election that’ll send him to prison if he loses, and instead of focusing on trying to get back into contention, he’s focused on this nonsense. This gives us the opportunity to double down on voter registration and run up the score while Trump wastes his time on nonsense.
