Mother Nature tells Donald Trump to go to Hell

With his presidency falling apart and his reelection prospects in the gutter, Donald Trump decided that the best way to “fix” things would be to hijack the nation’s Fourth of July celebration in Washington DC and turn it into a military-fueled authoritarian homage to himself. The whole thing was going to be a debacle no matter what, because Trump is simply too much of a weakling to pull off the dictator pose.

But now Trump has a new problem: his deranged ambitions have clearly angered Mother Nature, because his event was just delayed by torrential rain. His “parade” – which is really just him standing there giving an inappropriately partisan political speech in front of some military tanks – has been pushed back indefinitely. It’s not yet clear when or if it’ll still happen or not, but the bottom line is that Trump is getting what he deserves.

The perfectly timed downpour prompted “Mother Nature” to begin trending on Twitter, as everyone piled on about how an evil monster like Donald Trump is clearly being punished for his sins. Neera Tanden from the Center for American Progress tweeted “Keep it up Mother Nature” while musician Ricky Davila quipped that he was “praying for a monsoon, hail, lightning, strong winds, floods and whatever else Mother Nature can muster to end this Dictator’s ego worship.”
