More terrible news for Republican Senators as Trump circles the drain

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Even as the Republican Senators try to ram through illegitimate and deranged Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett against the will of the people, several of those Republican Senators are facing reelection bids. Not surprisingly, several of those bids are going downhill.

The respected Cook Political Report has shifted its ratings in the Democrats’ favor in three Senate races. The thing is, all three races should have been near-automatic wins for the Republicans, based on demographics. But now they’re all potentially up for grabs.

Cook says that the special election for Georgia Senate has now shifted from “Lean Republican” to “Toss Up.” This is good news for Democratic candidate Raphael Warnock, who has been endorsed by President Obama and keeps rising in the polls.

Cook has also shifted the Senate races in Texas and Alaska from “Likely Republican” to “Lean Republican.” That’s good news for Democratic candidate MJ Hegar in Texas. It’s also good news for Independent (Democratic Party endorsed) candidate Al Gross in Alaska. These are winnable races, and it’s time to ramp up our efforts to win them.
