Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

There is increasing chatter that the January 6 committee will hold more hearings in the months of August and perhaps even September. And committee Chairman Bennie Thompson has even said he would not rule out additional hearings.

The reason he explains is because of all the new evidence that has been obtained in recent weeks. And Rep Pat Aguilar of California said this: “It depends on where the evidence takes us.”

It sounds encouraging. And here is my opinion: I think there will be more hearings. The January 6 hearings have been a rousing success. The nation has been riveted. Polls show minds are being changed. Millions of people are watching. But it’s more than that. The story doesn’t feel “finished.” It feels poised, on the brink of more revelations.

Of course, this is just my opinion. But there is a feeling in the air. People want to know more. People want to know it ALL. So yes, I think the hearings will continue. New evidence has washed ashore, and it sounds like there is a lot of it. If any of this evidence is important — and there is no reason to think it isn’t — then, of course, the committee will want to show it to the American people and explain what it all means.

So, we wait. The last hearing for this month is coming up quickly. There is a feeling of almost exultation in the air as we all bear witness to these extraordinary revelations. And we will see if there is more where that comes from.
