More good news for President Biden
“Polls show huge jump for Biden after State of the Union.” This headline is from Crooks and Liars. “Joe Biden suddenly leads in multiple polls.” This is from Newsweek. Readers, I point you toward these polls not because I’m saying all polls are accurate, but as I’ve said before, most in the media do not even bother COVERING the polls saying Biden is ahead. I am here to make you aware that they exist because damned if anyone else will.
That being said, there is a feeling of euphoria in the air, yes? I can feel it. Things look brighter, more vivid. The wind smells sweeter, trees look greener, there’s a feeling of sweet harmony and I for one am loving it.
The fact is that President Biden’s speech is still being talked about as one of the best SOTU speeches ever. So, let’s look at a few polls. The Kaiser family foundation is out with a new one showing Biden ahead.
Emerson College also does. In fact, in their poll, Biden is over 50 %, which, if correct, is HUGE. People are also starting to pay attention. On C-SPAN, a Republican caller phoned in to announce that they had decided to vote for Joe Biden.
This caller, Nick from Connecticut, said it was his first call to the network. Andy Biggs was at C-SPAN when the caller told him the GOP divisiveness had left him “puzzled” and that he was planning to vote for Biden.
If you’re wondering how Biggs handled that, he suggested the caller quit the GOP and become a Democrat. That’s my point. The GOP is so divisive. They leave no room for any exchange of ideas. They are just one long somber column of book bans, abortion bans, etc. If they were a book, their title would be “We Hate Everything.”
I wouldn’t buy THAT book – would you? So yes, Biden has sprung into first place in many polls, his donations are spilling over into floods, and people are tuning in and choosing US — Biden — the Democratic party. The race is on!
