Momentum surges for President-elect Joe Biden
Donald Trump spent all year falsely insisting that New York City had turned into a ghost town. Immediately after it was announced that Trump had lost the election, Times Square became filled with thousands of (mask wearing) people, celebrating the result. People were seen singing, cheering, and dancing to music.
Trump decided to hit the golf course today, and got the news that he’d lost while he was golfing. Now he’s on his way back to the White House, and it’s surrounded by thousands of protesters who are celebrating the fact that he’s lost. That’s what he’ll be greeted with when he gets back.
It’s not just that people are celebrating Trump’s downfall. People are celebrating the fact that Joe Biden – a good man and a proven and empathetic leader – is now President-elect. People are celebrating the fact that Kamala Harris – one of the best running mate selections of all time and a historic pick – is Vice President-elect.
