Mitt Romney goes ballistic about Donald Trump
In the hours since Donald Trump commuted the prison sentence of his criminal co-conspirator Roger Stone, most Republican Senators have been curiously silent, with the exception of Lindsey Graham, who expressed his full support for the deranged and illegal move. But Mitt Romney, the one Republican Senator who had the integrity to vote to convict and remove Trump, came out swinging.
Mitt Romney posted this tweet, which quickly received more than a quarter million likes:
Unprecedented, historic corruption: an American president commutes the sentence of a person convicted by a jury of lying to shield that very president.

.
It’s becoming clear that there is only one Republican Senator left with even a shred of integrity. And yet here we are heaping praise on Romney simply for doing the basics of his job – a sign of just how far the rest of his party has fallen.
