Mitch McConnell — crying? According to new reporting — yes. A new book about the turtle is due out VERY shortly — October 29. In it, author Michael Tackett writes about how a bitter McConnell called Trump, “despicable,” “stupid,” and “a narcissist,” proving that even turtles very occasionally get it right.

The “despicable” comment was reported to have been because of Trump sitting on Corona virus aide that the American people desperately needed. But the most astounding thing this writer found is that Mitch — cried about January 6.

Reportedly, he began to sob as he thanked political staffers, showing a sensitivity that I had never seen before. But it makes sense if one thinks about it. Most people have the ability to perceive things, to feel. Apparently, even the turtle is sentient in that way. And apparently, January 6 was too far even for him.

That is why it saddens me that he has said little since that time. What is WRONG with these people? Is power REALLY that important — the MOST important thing — to them?

I think that there are plenty more where the turtle comes from. Yes, I imagine in the privacy of their lairs, many Republicans feel free to hate, to cuss, to metaphorically spit — at the human feces called Donald Trump. I bet those who engage in this behavior are some of the ones we’d least expect it from.

If ALL of them would have stood as one unit, YEARS ago, they’d have been impenetrable. There would have been nothing – not one damn thing — Trump and his insane posse of evil clowns, of spitting MAGA hate machines could have done. They wouldn’t have been able to primary ALL of them.

But alas, they chose to walk down the wrong road. It is a pity, really, a tragedy because they had so many chances, and nobody but nobody, had more chances than the turtle. He had the opportunity to leave a real and true legacy, but as it turns out, tears and shame were not nearly enough to conquer the calls of the MAGA herd.
