By all means, Mitch McConnell, keep running your mouth about all the corrupt things you’ll do if you’re ever Majority Leader again, such as refusing to confirm any Biden nominees to the Supreme Court. You’re just further motivating us to put in the election work required to make sure you never get that title back.
McConnell publicly insisted that he held all the cards going into the 2020 election… then he lost. He doesn’t have a magic wand, he just talks like he does. Like anyone else, sometimes he wins, sometimes he loses. His game is all about trying to make you think he’s already magically won, so you’ll give up and stop fighting him, which will make it easier for him to win. But I know you’re all a lot smarter than that.
One huge thing working to our advantage is that McConnell is so openly arrogant these days, he talks like this without realizing what it can cost him. He talked like he had the election in the bag in 2020, and we used it as fuel against him, and we beat him. Yet he’s still stupidly taking like this. Let’s use it against him again in 2022.
