Mitch McConnell just got destroyed
Now that Donald Trump’s illegal and poorly received executive orders aren’t having the kind of impact that he was hoping, it falls back to Congress to negotiate an actual stimulus package. That means Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is falling back on his usual negotiating tactic: lying.
Fortunately, White House correspondent Brian Karem was on hand to take Mitch McConnell to task for his dishonest posturing:

Karem’s sentiment is consistent with how a wide swath of the American public is seeing things. McConnell’s tweet ended up receiving more than fourteen thousand negative replies, as everyone piled on. Or as political activist Jesse Daniel Lifson put it, “An important Confederate statue that needs to be removed on November 3rd, is Mitch McConnell.”
