Things just turned ugly for Mike Pence

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Mike Pence has a problem – and we’re not just talking about the fact that he’s on a losing ticket and a sinking ship. Pence scheduled a dangerous and idiotic trip to Arizona this week, presumably just so he and Donald Trump could continue pretending that the coronavirus crisis is over. The trip has turned out to be such a disaster that it’s already been canceled.

At least eight Secret Service agents are now quarantined in Phoenix with coronavirus symptoms, after having gone to Phoenix to do the advance work for Mike Pence’s trip, according to CNN. As a result, Pence has canceled his trip. How convenient for him. Pence got these agents sick by sending them into a coronavirus hotspot, and now they’re the ones paying the price.

Mike Pence’s Phoenix trip was completely needless. It was scheduled under dishonest pretenses. And it’s resulted in eight hard working Secret Service agents having gotten sick with coronavirus symptoms. If anything should happen to any of them, Pence should be criminally charged with negligent homicide. We wish these agents the best in their recoveries.
