Mike Pence crashes and burns

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Mike Pence is speaking out, saying he is pleased with the reactions of the other candidates on stage at the Republican debate saying that he did the right thing on January 6. He has also explained that in his view, the American people really don’t know him very deeply, and he looks forward to people getting to know him more, and seeing him in a fresh light.

Mike Pence is going to get a surprise because people know him very well, and they don’t like what they see. Pence does not have an iota of a chance to win the presidency because he has the distinct privilege of turning off every single voting bloc.

Let’s start with Republicans. The Maga base will never vote for Pence. I often listen in on Maga, quietly seeking to understand where their heads are at because they are enemies and it’s important to know the mind of the enemy.

And one thing that has not changed is the dislike of Pence. The word traitor is still used over and over again as it pertains to Pence. There is just no way that Pence is going to make Maga love him. He is living in fantasy land if he thinks this is possible.

Now, let’s suppose the impossible DID happen, and somehow Pence got the nomination. He would garner few votes from the Independents or the Democrats.

That’s because Mike Pence is the most conservative of all the candidates. and I include DeSantis and Ramaswamy in this analysis simply because I do not believe they are really that conservative. I think they kind of make it up as they go along to please Maga.

But we know Pence IS that conservative. The man once believed in conversion therapy! And he shows no sign of moving to the middle. If Mike Pence got the nomination and got up on that stage in a general election debate, and started talking about a nationwide abortion ban in all 50 states, he would be laughed off that stage.

He hasn’t seemed really to grasp the fact that his views and his politics are anathema to the American people. Nobody wants what Mike Pence is selling and nobody ever will.
