Mike Pence just landed in the center of Donald Trump’s Ukraine treason scandal

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

We knew trouble was coming for Mike Pence when Donald Trump held a press conference yesterday and repeatedly urged reporters to find a way to get their hands on the transcripts of Pence’s recent phone calls with the president of Ukraine. It was clear that Trump was throwing Pence under the bus. It was less clear why. Today we’re getting some clarity.

Early this morning the Ukraine whistleblower complaint was released to the public. It helped to further confirm that Donald Trump really did try to criminally conspire with the president of Ukraine to rig the 2020 U.S. presidential election. It also further dragged Attorney General Bill Barr and raging lunatic Rudy Giuliani into the mix. But it also introduced a key new player. You guessed it: Mike Pence.

The whistleblower complaint reveals that as a way of showing the president of Ukraine that he meant business when it came to framing Joe Biden in a fake scandal, Donald Trump had Mike Pence cancel his planned trip to Ukraine. Are we really supposed to believe that Pence wasn’t aware of why his trip was being canceled?

If Mike Pence knew what Donald Trump was doing when it came to Ukraine and Biden, and Pence helped the Trump regime to keep this criminal plot a secret, then Pence is knee deep in the coverup conspiracy. Trump is obviously going to prison. We’re not sure what Mike Pence’s criminal exposure is at this point. But it’s difficult to imagine that Pence survives this politically.
