Mike Pence cancels his events and heads home as coronavirus buzz mounts

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

After being exposed to the White House coronavirus outbreak, Mike Pence spent several days hiding from public view. When he finally emerged for the VP debate last night, he appeared to have pink eye, a common symptom of coronavirus. It set off widespread speculation about whether Pence might have been infected and trying to hide it.

Now that buzz is about to get a lot louder. The AP is reporting that Pence just canceled his public events that were scheduled for tomorrow in Indiana, and instead he’s heading back home to Washington DC. No details are being provided, but there are really only two explanations.

One would be that Mike Pence is indeed sick, and now that he’s realized he can’t hide it, he’s disappearing from public view again. The other would be that Donald Trump’s own downward spiral is getting so severe, the Trump regime needs Pence back in DC in case Trump flames out or doesn’t make it. Either way, this appears to be terrible news for the Trump-Pence regime. This comes even as Speaker Nancy Pelosi is now openly pushing for the 25th Amendment.
