Michelle Obama slam dunks Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Michelle Obama famously said that “When they go low, we go high.” It was in direct response to Donald Trump and his ilk going about as low as possible during the election. There has since been a lot of debate about whether it’s now appropriate to “go low” in response to Trump’s worsening criminal antics. Now Michelle is weighing in on that herself, slam dunking Trump while still managing to “go high” about it.

Michelle Obama is releasing her memoir titled “Becoming.” In it, she rips into Donald Trump for the damage he did by making the false and racist claim that her husband, President Barack Obama, was secretly born in Kenya. But notably, she’s doing it in a rather eloquent and classy fashion.

Here’s what Michelle said, according to an advance published by the Washington Post: “What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington? What if that person went looking for our girls? Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family’s safety at risk. And for this I’d never forgive him.”

So there you have it. Michelle Obama is, predictably, being as thoughtful and even handed as ever. But she’s also giving absolutely no quarter to Donald Trump, as she explains how dangerous his deranged lies can be. Now the big question, of course, is whether Michelle might end up running for President.
