Michael Cohen sounds the alarm

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

We’re now two and a half weeks from what can accurately be described as the most important midterm elections in American history. If the Democrats win a majority in either the House or Senate, we’ll be on a strong path toward bringing Donald Trump to justice for his long list of crimes against the United States. If the Republicans retain control of the House and Senate, there will be little standing in Trump’s way. Just how crucial are these elections? Ask Michael Cohen. No, really.

In the month since Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to eight felonies and named Donald Trump as an unindicted co-conspirator in his crimes, he’s reportedly spent more than fifty hours with prosecutors in the name of trying to make things right. Cohen has since registered as a Democrat, and he’s encouraging everyone to approach the November elections with the appropriate amount of seriousness.

Michael Cohen said this to a CNN reporter today: “Listen, here’s my recommendation. Grab your family, grab your friends, grab your neighbors, and get to the [polls], because if not, you are going to have another two or another six years of this craziness. So, make sure you vote. All right?” This comes five days after Cohen tweeted that “The Midterm Elections 2018 might be the most important vote in our lifetime.”

Michael Cohen appears to really mean it. In addition to making the concrete step of giving extensive cooperation to the state and federal prosecutors who are pursuing Donald Trump, he’s also made symbolic moves such as unblocking the Resistance members he had blocked on Twitter back in the day.
