Donald Trump fell asleep in the courtroom during the first day of his criminal trial, according to multiple reporters who witnessed the incident. It’s a good reminder that Trump is not only too far gone to regain political power, he’s too far gone to even survive his trial.

There’s no video footage of Trump falling asleep, but Lev Parnas did create this hilarious post, which Michael Cohen then shared widely:

This is who Donald Trump is these day. He’s an inept joke. He’s a guy who’s too senile to remember why he’s in a courtroom and why he’s supposed to stay awake. Cohen will be testifying against Trump later in this trial. We wonder if Trump will be awake for that.
