In surreal twist, Michael Cohen appears to endorse Andrew Gillum

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump’s former longtime personal attorney and “fixer” Michael Cohen, who has recently pleaded guilty to eight felony charges and named Trump as an unindicted co-conspirator, continues to try to rehabilitate himself. He’s reportedly spent more than fifty hours cooperating with federal and state prosecutors in the past month. Cohen is also, interestingly, urging voters to install Democrats in power, as a way of bringing Trump to justice. Now Cohen is getting behind one Democrat in particular.

Andrew Gillum, the Democratic candidate for Governor of Florida, posted this tweet today: “I believe that we will win—but only if we vote.” Michael Cohen then retweeted Gillum, adding the hashtag “GetOutAndVote.” This may not be an explicit endorsement of Gillum, but within the context of Cohen’s recent decision to register as a Democrat, and his other remarks in support of Democrats, it’s close enough. So what’s going on here?

Earlier this week, Donald Trump accused Andrew Gillum of being a “thief” while providing no evidence to support his false accusation. Back in the real world, Michael Cohen knows full well that his former boss Donald Trump is the real criminal, as he’s acknowledged in court. Cohen appears to be specifically trying to undo the damage that Trump is trying to do to Gillum. In any case, this election cycle keeps getting more surreal.
