Mexico has completely turned the tables on Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump has been insisting since 2015 that the best way to keep the United States safe is to build a wall on the Mexican border. Since taking office, Trump has tried and failed to build a wall, and even pretended he’s built a wall, even as everyone has pointed out that a wall isn’t going to make anyone safe.

Now the tables have turned on Donald Trump’s obsession with the Mexican border. Thanks to Trump’s disastrous mishandling of the coronavirus outbreak in the United States, Reuters says that Mexico is considering clamping down on border crossings. That’s right, Mexico is worried that disease-carrying Americans might bring the virus to Mexico.

Donald Trump has spent his entire time in office projecting weakness, foolishness, and incompetence. He’s turned the United States into such a flaming dumpster fire that Mexico is now rightly worried about whether it needs to clamp down the U.S.-Mexico border.
