Donald Trump just put his worsening physical and mental health problems back in the spotlight

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Palmer Report spent all of 2017 steadily documenting the changes in Donald Trump’s behavior which increasingly suggested that he was suffering from worsening physical and mental health problems. By the end of the year, Trump’s health troubles had become so blatant and alarming that even the ever-cautious mainstream media was willing to point out the problem. In a rare smart strategic move, Trump convinced a military doctor to lie about his health, which was enough to convince the mainstream media to let the story fade. But now Trump has made the mistake of putting his health right back in the spotlight.

When Dr. Ronny Jackson declared that Donald Trump was in nearly perfect health, that he had incredible genes, that he had no cognitive issues, and that he was taller and thinner than he really is, we all knew the good doctor was purposely and wildly misrepresenting things and that he was trying to cover something up. But the media seemingly didn’t want to accuse an accomplished military doctor of lying, and so it dropped the subject, even as Trump’s physical and mental health has appeared to worsen even further in 2018.

Trump, however, seems to have forgotten that Jackson’s ludicrous medical claims about him were in fact fraudulent – or perhaps Trump forgot that cabinet appointments require Senate confirmation. Trump has nominated Jackson to be his new VA Secretary, meaning that Jackson will be questioned by the Senate on live national television. Even if the Republicans decide to give Jackson a free pass, which is far from a given, the Democrats in the Senate will use their allotted time to zero in on, among other things, Jackson’s obviously fraudulent Trump physical.

So now Dr. Ronny Jackson is finally going to have to answer questions about why he listed Donald Trump as weighing 239 pounds when he’s visibly thirty pounds heavier, why he listed Trump as being 6’3″ when photos reveal he’s shorter than people he’s stood next to who are 6’2″, and why he gave Trump a cognitive test that was no more difficult than correctly identifying a picture of a rhinoceros. Once the absurdity of these aspects of the physical is established, the Democrats can then grill Jackson about what’s really wrong with Trump’s physical and mental health. That is, if Trump doesn’t withdraw the nomination first.
