Donald Trump has berserk meltdown after his 60 Minutes interview with Lesley Stahl goes south

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier this evening the news broke that Donald Trump had walked out in the middle of his White House interview with 60 Minutes legend Lesley Stahl. At the time, Palmer Report pointed out that this meant the interview must have gone terribly for Trump. Now he’s pretty much confirming this.

Trump posted this berserk tweet just now: “I am pleased to inform you that, for the sake of accuracy in reporting, I am considering posting my interview with Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes, PRIOR TO AIRTIME! This will be done so that everybody can get a glimpse of what a FAKE and BIASED interview is all about Everyone should compare this terrible Electoral Intrusion with the recent interviews of Sleepy Joe Biden!”

In other words, Stahl asked him some tough questions, and he blew up and stormed out. Of course the 60 Minutes crew has footage of the whole thing, but the interview isn’t set to air until Sunday night. So Trump is threatening to release some out of context or possibly doctored footage in advance, in the hope of muddying the waters, and saving face. This could prompt CBS to start releasing the actual footage now, instead of waiting until Sunday.

In any case, it’s more clear than ever that Donald Trump is completely unraveling as we get closer to election day and he runs out of hope that he might mount a comeback win. Picking a fight with Lesley Stahl is a particularly weird way to go out, even for him. Let’s double down on voting, and driving voter turnout, and get this deranged maniac out of office.
