Melania Trump’s disappearance becomes a family affair
More than three weeks after she disappeared into the hospital for a supposed kidney procedure, Melania Trump has yet to be seen or heard from by any member of the media or the public. The White House has consistently tried to mislead us about her whereabouts, and Donald Trump has been caught impersonating her on Twitter. Now her vanishing act, which grows more suspicious by the day, has become a family affair.
Donald Trump decided to head to Camp David this weekend, because, well, it’s not as if he needs a reason. This guy has spent a ridiculous percentage of his presidency on vacation. Even when he’s at the White House, he’s rarely doing any of the nation’s work. So it’s not news that he’s headed out yet another vacation weekend. But here’s the kicker: just about the whole family is going with him, except for… well, you know.
The media cameras covering the Marine One boarding process have given away the guest list. Donald Trump Jr is headed to Camp David with his father. Ivanka Trump is also going. Even Jared “expendable” Kushner is joining the party. For that matter, Trump’s largely estranged daughter Tiffany is heading to Camp David. Why? No one knows, really. Maybe they’re discussing his eventual exit strategy from office. Maybe they’re trying to figure out how to pull off one more grift against the American people while they still can. Whatever they’re doing, Melania Trump didn’t go with them. For that matter neither did Barron.
This means that if Melania Trump is even in really the White House to begin with, which is anyone’s guess, she and Barron are now there for the weekend without any other members of the Trump family. Why is that significant? We don’t know what’s wrong with her, or why she’s gone from public life, or what kind of condition she’s in. But we do know that Donald Trump posted a tweet the other day, pretending to be Melania, assuring the public that everything was fine. It’s almost as if she’s being held hostage – but who’s guarding her now?
