Melania Trump takes new shot at Donald Trump

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

Yesterday, Palmer Report brought you the story of how Aretha Franklin’s funeral turned into one big Donald Trump-bashing session, brought on at least partly by the false claims that Trump made about Franklin shortly after she passed away. It was also notable that while Trump wasn’t invited, Bill and Hillary Clinton were in attendance, and Bill Clinton spoke. Now it turns out Melania Trump has something to say about it as well.

No, she didn’t say it directly. Instead, a “source close” to Melania Trump told entertainment industry publication Hollywood Life all about how Melania felt about it. It’s important to understand that this kind of thing does not happen unless the public figure in question wants the friend running to the media, for the sake of putting certain words and sentiments out there publicly. So these words from the friend can be attributed to Melania herself. What did she have to say?

Melania feels “humiliated and embarrassed by the multiple Donald insults at the Aretha funeral” and “feel horrible that Donald is not welcome or invited to Aretha’s funeral as well as McCain’s funeral,” according to the Hollywood Life article. It’s fairly clear that Melania is making a point of putting this out there in order to publicly kick Donald Trump while he’s down, while trying to humanize herself in the process.

So now we’ve got Melania Trump taking a public shot at her husband Donald Trump through a thinly veiled media source, at a time when he’s already on the ropes. Donald was not invited to Barbara Bush’s funeral. He was not invited to the Royal Wedding. He was dissed at Aretha Franklin’s funeral. And of course he’s been banned from John McCain’s funeral, even as former President Barack Obama and former President George W. Bush have been invited to deliver the eulogy.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
