The Melania Trump scandal gets even stranger
Last week Donald Trump thought he was about to catch a break when Melania Trump decided to travel to the border, in order to put a more human face on his immigrant child cage scandal. Then Melania totally blew the moment by wearing a jacket that said “I really don’t care,” thus cementing the notion that even Trump’s wife didn’t care about the kids he had abducted. Now it turns out the whole thing was even stranger than we thought.
When Melania travels by herself, her arrival at the tarmac is typically closed to the press. So how did the media manage to take photos of her wearing that jacket? In this one instance Melania made an exception and specifically invited reporters to cover her tarmac arrival, according to a new Washington Post report. In other words, she wanted to make absolute certain that everyone saw her jacket.
We can’t stress this enough: this jacket was absolutely not some planned distraction on Donald Trump’s part. Melania was supposed to be the distraction from his atrocities. Her jacket destroyed the moment, and turned what could have been a good moment for him into a very bad moment for him. But now we know that this very much was planned by Melania. She wanted to screw this up for Donald, and she went out of her way to make sure that it got screwed up.
So now we have confirmation that Melania Trump is so angry at Donald Trump, she’s willing to make a point of making herself look bad just so she can harm him in the process. She’s been finding ways to make him look bad in public for months, dating back to when the Stormy Daniels news first broke. Instead of getting over it or moving on, she’s now ramping things up. Even if you couldn’t care less about her one way or the other, her escalating desire to damage her husband is only going to make his presidency that much more untenable as his criminal scandals close in on him.
