The real reason Melania Trump is telling Donald Trump to concede
Last night the news surfaced that Jared Kushner of all people had told Donald Trump it was time to concede. As we explained, this kind of thing doesn’t leak to the media unless Kushner is the one who leaked it. In other words, he’s kneecapping Trump by letting the whole world know that he knows it’s over for Trump. It turns out he’s not the only one.
Melania Trump is now also telling Donald Trump that it’s time for him to “accept the loss,” according to Shimon Prokupecz of CNN. Again, the only way something like this leaks to the media is if Melania leaks it. So at this point Melania is also kneecapping Donald Trump by telling the entire world that it’s over. But why?
Our guess is that anyone leaking something like this is trying to take credit in the eyes of the public for helping to finish Donald Trump off. Kushner could end up facing criminal charges after his various antics, and he may be trying to soften his public image ahead of any such proceedings. Melania could simply be trying to get this over with so she can dump him.
We’ll see. These kinds of people tend to only have selfish motivations, even when they occasionally do something that looks like the right thing. But it’s notable that with Trump now inevitably going down, the people closest to Trump suddenly seem to be in a race to see who can finish him off first. When things get dicey in the end, it’s every creep for himself.
