Mehmet Oz releases berserk new campaign ad, vows to violently overthrow the government or something
Mehmet “Dr.” Oz has run a remarkably clumsy Senate campaign thus far. This often tends to happen when wealthy conservative elites like him try to figure out how to paint themselves as a suitably deranged right wing extremist. But Oz, long exposed as a con artist and clown in the eyes of mainstream Americans, is having a particularly rough go of it.
Now Oz has released this absolutely bonkers new campaign ad, in which he starts off by bragging about how much he loves shooting animals for sport, and then seems to say in almost exact words that he supports right wing efforts to violently overthrow the government:

What’s remarkable is that, even with the massive name recognition advantage he entered the race with, Oz is running neck and neck with other, lower profile Republican primary candidates. As the other Republican candidates establish themselves, and Oz keeps buffoonishly trying to pander to Trump’s base like this, his numbers could drop further. In any case, it’s crucial that the Democrats unite behind their eventual nominee in order to make sure that someone like Oz never gets anywhere near the Senate.
