Mehmet Oz hits the panic button
The texts and fundraising emails from Mehmet Oz have not stopped. Email after email after email is landing in the mailboxes of voters with one message: Help me. Apparently, Mehmet is getting quite worried about where his campaign stands a few weeks out from the midterms. And he wants people to give him their money.
“Right now, Democrats are FLATTENING Republicans in Senate races across the country.” This is direct from a Mehmet fundraising email. It seems that Mehmet’s campaign is teetering on the brink.
In yet another whiny email, Mehmet bemoans the fact that he missed his weekly fundraising goal — multiple times. It is definitely not a good week — or month — to be Mehmet Oz. It IS a good month to be John Fetterman.
Most polls have Democrat John Fetterman up by a lot. And even the few polls that insist the race is competitive have Fetterman up. Basically — there has yet to be one poll to this day that shows Mehmet Oz ahead in the race.
Perhaps he’s right to worry. But that does NOT mean we have it in the bag. Please take a minute to Remember Susan Collins, who was not ahead in one poll but managed to win by a comfortable margin.
Although I believe John Fetterman IS ahead, it would do us no good to get overconfident. That is why everyone who can should donate to John Fetterman today. Let’s help him across the finish line! We’re in the home stretch, and Pennsylvania is looking good as a pickup opportunity.
