Mehmet Oz gets dunked on
Wegner’s grocery store is now using its Twitter account to dunk on Mehmet Oz and endorse John Fetterman. To be clear, there is no Wegner’s grocery store, and the endorsement is coming from a popular parody account. But Mehmet Oz wouldn’t know that.
The parody account sprung up after Oz posted a disastrous campaign video in which he incorrectly claimed to be at “Wegner’s” – a grocery chain that doesn’t exist – even as he unwittingly demonstrated that he has no idea how shopping for groceries even works. Check out the faux-endorsement:
We repeatedly told @DrOz that we had pre-made veggie trays..excuse me “Crudité”…in the deli starting at $5.99. $7.99 with guacamole and salsa. Vote @JohnFetterman! pic.twitter.com/FO83LmYPIl

Meanwhile John Fetterman continues to hold a lead in the race. But because it’s Pennsylvania, the end result could still end up being close, no matter how badly Mehmet Oz keeps screwing up. You can donate or volunteer for the John Fetterman campaign here.
