Megan Rapinoe just got her revenge on Donald Trump

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

Earlier this week, Team USA soccer star Megan Rapinoe was asked if she’ll visit Trump’s White House if her team won the championship. Her answer: an emphatic no. Donald Trump then tried to rip her to pieces on Twitter, but largely left people confused. Now she’s promptly getting her revenge on him, in the best way possible.

Trump launched into a tirade about Megan Rapinoe this week which involved angles as surreal as NBA team ownership – and Trump missed the mark so badly, he ended up tagging some random woman with the similar name of Megan Rapino, who then jumped in to fight back against him. Rapinoe (the famous one) didn’t bother to fire back at Trump because she didn’t have to, even as her teammates stood in solitary with her. Now she’s finally spoken today.

And of course by “spoken” we mean that she’s been speaking with her foot today, as she’s scored the first two goals of Team USA’s quarterfinal match against France, leading her team to an eventual 2-1 victory.

Donald Trump, for his part, has had nothing to say thus far about his nation’s big victory today. Even as Team USA comes closer to winning the championship, we think it’s safe to assume that the team isn’t going anywhere near Trump’s White House. Meanwhile, various members of Congress have invited Team USA to visit them instead.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
