Matt Whitaker caught red handed

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When Donald Trump decided to illegally install scam toilet guy Matthew Whitaker as his illegitimate Acting Attorney General, it was a given that the story would only get worse from there. Best anyone can tell, despite refusing to take the DOJ’s advice to recuse himself, Whitaker hasn’t been able to do anything to sabotage the Trump-Russia investigation. Instead, he’s gotten caught red handed in yet another scandal.

Matt Whitaker played football at the University of Iowa, and he’s proud of bragging about it. He’s also been keen to brag about having been an Academic All-American in college, to the point that he’s listed it on his resume and in government documents. When you have no real qualifications for the job, you might as well play up what you can, right? Except, as it turns out, even this part is a scam.

Whitaker was never named an Academic All-American in college, as newly exposed by the Wall Street Journal. That’s not the kind of thing you’d get confused about or misremember, which means that Whitaker has been faking his resume for his entire career, and hoping that no one would bother to look it up.

This is the kind of scandal that, in any legitimate administration, would probably get Matt Whitaker fired. Donald Trump picked Whitaker for explicitly criminal purposes, so he’s obviously not going to suddenly fire Whitaker over this. But the more scandalous Whitaker becomes in general, and the more negative attention on him, the less leverage he’ll have in terms of screwing with the Trump-Russia probe.
