Matt Gaetz is at it again
Reportedly, Matt Gaetz (failure, insurrection party, poor Florida) is whispering in the ears of some of his fellow Republicans. And this is interesting enough for an article. Because we all know when Matt Gaetz starts his whispers,bad things can and do happen.
Reportedly, Matt’s objective is to “drum up support for a resolution stating that Donald Trump did not engage in insurrection.” Gaetz has been shopping this around in the last week or so, asking Republicans to join him as co-sponsors.
Now, here is precisely what this Gaetz resolution would say: “That it is the sense of the House of Representatives that former President Donald J. Trump did not engage in insurrection or rebellion against the United States or give aid or comfort to enemies thereof.”
Some House members such as Marjorie Taylor Greene and Andy Biggs have already thrown their support behind this. And I laugh. I laugh, as do you, I’m sure. We laugh mockingly. Why? Because much is given away with this pathetic resolution.
It shows Republicans are worried. They should be since their leader is soon to go on trial for multiple crimes. Republicans are running scared. That is what this is all about. Don’t believe me? Think about it. Nobody who had ANY confidence in their candidate would EVER do this because they wouldn’t need to.
They are worried about Trump being the nominee. They are afraid the American people will turn away. Of course, they will turn away. No silly-putty Republican fake resolution can EVER hide the truth.
The truth is that the United States Capitol is spun of gold — rich, sparking gold representing history and our extraordinary, vibrant heroes; it is a place to be respected, adored, and inspired by.
And on 1/6/2021, a bunch of screaming thugs, brainwashed into savage oblivion, desecrated the walls and halls of our beautiful Capitol. These people,these insurrectionists, wanted to hurt, to maim, to violate, and to kill. That is all they wanted.
So go ahead, Gaetz and other Republicans. Try to put this utterly ridiculous resolution into being. It can’t hide the truth though. The thing is, NOTHING can hide the truth, and that truth is Donald Trump has a history too just like the Capitol does.
Only Donald’s history is of violence — of insurrection — of sedition and wickedness. Nothing- not a stupid piece of paper thought up by a person like Matt Gaetz- can ever change that. The truth always lives.
Just like Ron DeSantis cannot hide the fact that Slavery once existed, nor can House Republicans hide the fact that rotten apples hit the Capitol, and the biggest one of all is their leader, one of the most evil people ever to walk the face of this earth.
